emmaorgana saddled me with the letter "C". I like quite a few songs that start with "C", so this was a little difficult.

1. Clouds Race Across the Sky by Joe Satriani YouTube. (This song made a big impact on me while I was on a train somewhere in Montana. It has that whole train-ride, clickity-clack type vibe that fit perfectly under the circumstances. It is actually pretty mello for a guitar instrumental. The visuals picked by the video's creator are perfect!)

2. Cantina Band by John Williams and the London Symphony Orchastra YouTube. (This doesn't need an explanation, does it? So let's watch the Lebanon Valley College Marching Band take it on, shall we?)

3. Christmastime is Here by The Vince Guaraldi Trio YouTube. (Again, does this really need an explanation? I prefer the version without vocals.)

4. Can't Get You Out of My Head by Kylie Minogue YouTube. (It's got a good beat and you can dance to it. Plus it is the GREATEST. MUSIC. VIDEO. EVAH!!! Oh alright, maybe not, but it does show how affective double-stick tape can be. All shallowness aside, it does have a good hook to it, and the closing chorus stands out to me compared to the rest of the song. The song alone works, it really does.)

5. Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer YouTube. (From the Miami Vice 2 soundtrack, I must have listen to this a million times when I was a kid. It's dark, moody, yet it has a good pace to it, where you can just walk forever (or for 3 minutes and 15 seconds) and lose yourself in your thoughts, or just let your thoughts go.)

I also could have included "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails, "Come What May" by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, a little known song by Van Halen called "Crossing Over", or "Come Undone" by Duran Duran.
