It still just looks cheap, though! I've seen better construction from 18 year old cosplayers :p

And she looks too wussy to be WW :/ Go to the Gym!

lol YES! THIS.

And she looks too wussy to be WW :/ Go to the Gym!

Yeah, I agree- she just seems so young, girlish, and slender- I mean, those aren't BAD qualities. But when it comes to Wonder Woman, she's well... A WOMAN! Strong, toned, for lack of a better word- WOMANLY.

It'd be like... casting Robert Pattinson instead of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I mean, Wolverine is portrayed as this thick, muscular manly MAN. Whereas Robert Pattinson is this lanky, boyish, awkward thing... It just wouldn't work.

That's the best analogy I can come up with. :P lol

My vote for Wonder Woman still goes to Bridget Regan. IMHO she effortlessly exudes power, femininity, and strength. She's supaaaa badass. Oh one day, hopefully...

If they'd make the top not-shiny, I'd like it better. Not that I really like it now but...
Well, I'm pretty unfamiliar with this actress, but she looks much prettier here than in that weird promo shot... They put waaaay too much makeup on her in that one... I mean, I think its in general agreement that the whole thing looked like a cheap adult halloween costume ad. :P

IMHO, the new outfit looks a lot better than it did before- though, that's not saying a whole lot. It still looks pretty cheaply made. I'm glad they got rid of the pleather pants (although disappointed they are still even USING pleather). And I'm relieved that the crotch on the pants is where it's SUPPOSED to be... In the first outfit it was like 2 inches BELOW her actual crotch. That's just really poor sewing construction, and superrr awkward looking. lol

Also, I'm glad they made the boots red, not blue. BUT still. Girl looks like she's about to pop outta her corset in a it's-not-the-right-size-its-too-small way, and that whip looks about as threatening as a ball of yarn. Not to mention, from the close ups I've seen, the gold detailing looks tragically like its from a kids plastic WW set from Kmart... Overall, I'm not impressed with the costume execution. But I appreciate that her ridiculous heels are gone (better for running) and I like the change to pants (sensible and less bizarre than the starred diapers look- although I still do like the grecian warrior skirt look)...

Honestly, I think the transition from comic to screen is difficult, especially when it comes to the costumes... Either it's gonna work and suspend our disbelief, or it's gonna look silly and campy... The way the director and cinematographer present it, as well as the overall art direction play a huge part in this.
