A Fandom meme

Name a character from one of my fandoms, and I'll give you either probably all of the following (a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon, (b) a reason he/she sucks, (c) a reason he/she is awesomecakes, (d) five things that never happened to that character or (e) five people that character never fell in love with and why.

If you're not interested in the usual (Star Wars, Pirates) I'll be willing to list other fandoms if you'd like? Or just browse through my user-info and see if you find anything interesting. :)

You can still ask about Star Wars or PotC, btw, I'm not stopping you. ;)

TPM-era Anakin... whoooo... that's going to be a little difficult.

a)
1: He didn't think Watto was all that bad of a guy.
2: He first heard about Jedi from the same spacers who told him about Angels.
3: While he found Naboo beautiful and exciting, he had trouble breathing at first because of the humidity.

b)
He had the worse haircut this side out the OuterRim Territories.

c)
He was the only human who could fly pod-racers!

d)
1. If he hadn't been freed when he was, Anakin would have grown-up and married Melee, the little blonde girl who said of Anakin's pod-racer, "It's never going to run."

2. He was a spice-runner for a local drug-dealer in Mos Espa.

3. Anakin always wore a wig.

4. Was given Sebulba's winnings from a previous race because Sebulba confessed to cheating.

5. Anakin never got the sand out of his shoes.

I'll do Will Turner later.
Will Turner

a)

1. Had a rather contentious relationship with Elizabeth when they were kids, although they'd eventually grow to be good friends.
2. Was apprenticing as a blacksmith before sailing for Port Royale.
3. Loved Elizabeth more than she loved him.

b) Too good looking for his own good. :p

c) His dedication, hardwork, and devotion to doing the Right Thing.

d)

1. He never became Captain of the Flying Dutchman. (Yes, At World's End doesn't count in my canon.)
2. Never found out how Jack escaped the island Barbaosa and crew put him on. Even Elizabeth wouldn't tell him.
3. He didn't stay in Port Royale, ending his days at a bustling seaport in South Carolina.
4. Never made a better sword than the one he made for Norrington when he became Commodore.
5. Never got over his addiction to cookies.
R2-D2

a)

1. He was very relieved to see a familiar face in Obi-Wan when he rescued Luke from the Sandpeople.
2. He was never a voyeur. (see the EU series The Swarm War)
3. Although he recognized Yoda on Dagobagh, he didn't approve of Yoda's non-Jedi Master like attitude toward Luke.

b) He doesn't taste very good. :p

c) R2 is loyal to a fault! He's Lassie, Benji, Q, Scotty, Alfred, and Short-Round combined!

d)

1. Never got his rocket-jets back after the warranty ran out.
2. Never enjoyed a cleaning more than when Padmé cleaned him.
3. He was never a voyeur. (see the EU series The Swarm War)
4. Never got that rear-stabilzer completely locked-down.
5. He never understood what Padmé saw in Anakin.

LOL I love those answers.
:D

I'll pick: Luke Skywaler.
I'm so sorry, sorry, sorry! I completely forgot about this. I haven't time to give you good answers right now, but I will in the near future. Promise.

P.S. You meant Luke Skywalker, right? ;)
Luke Skywalker

a)

1. He's the only human who can understand astromech droid-speak after several years of having R2-D2 as his constant companion.

2. Never got over Leia calling him "short."

3. Has a thing for red-heads, and red-heads have a thing for him.

b)

He still has the highest score on Vishi Ball at the Tosche Station arcade. (yeah, I couldn't think of anything, so sue me.)

c)

Has always stayed humble and never let the overwhelming power of being a Jedi tempt him. You can argue that he went to the dark side in the Dark Empire comics, but I'd say that he maintained enough control over his on self and was able to step away from the dark side when he finally had to.

d)

1. He never got those power-converters he was whinning about.

2. Never got a good deal on a landspeeder.

3. Never beat Han in a shooting contest; he would lose on purpose. ;)

4. Never felt comfortable with his sister naming her third child Anakin.

5. Never had Artoo's memory erased.
I loved your answers :)

3. Has a thing for red-heads, and red-heads have a thing for him.
:D
I'm currently reading "Survivor's Quest" and am so loving Luke and Mara together.

On B. I won't sue you. I liked that one.

1. He never got those power-converters he was whinning about.
There wasn't any time :(

Never felt comfortable with his sister naming her third child Anakin.
That's an interesting one. How come?
Artoo's not a voyeur? How disappointing. ;)

Out of sick and morbid curiosity, and since I am quite certain that I shall never read The Swarm War in my life, what is the joke behind this, exactly?
There is a very minor sub-plot involving Luke and Leia learning about their parents through holos R2 recorded during AOTC of Anakin and Padmé. While it is interesting, and the files are booby-trapped so that noone can access them without R2's approval, it is treated as a relatively minor thing, although there is some dwelling and angst regarding Anakin's actions and motivations at that time. The revelation of who Padmé was is almost treated as a frivolous detail because Our Heroes had more important matters (saving the galaxy from invasion once again) to deal with.

If they were going to reveal Luke and Leia's heritage to them, I would have prefered it to have been done more in the vein of Tatooine Ghost than this way.
Ah. I see said the blind man.

The EU seems to have some serious Padmé hate issues, or at best antipathy. Heh. Another good reason not to follow it. Well, that and the fact that it shamelessly defames Artoo's noble character. ;)

ITA!
I didn't read the trilogy, just skimmed it to read all the parts where the holos are mentions and I was let down. :( Leia wasn't even around to see most of them. *cry*

I would so love a book where they go to Naboo on a minor diplomatic trip and along the way discover about their mother's heritage and their parents' love story.
