"Apologize" and the Atonement DVD commercials

They've been using OneRepublic's hit song "Apologize" in some of the TV commercials for the Atonement DVD, and I have to admit that it fits well with the clips shown in the ads, but it also seems a bit misleading by trying to convince the viewer that the movie is more romantic than it actually is. Plus they announce that the film was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, but how many did it win? One, maybe two? I know for a fact that the score won an Oscar, yet they're using the pop-song over the commercial. I guess a film's score isn't as commercially appealing as you'd think it would be.
