It pays to complain!

Remember my story of my order getting screwed up at McDonalds? Well they were fairly prompt with a couple of apologetic e-mails saying "sorry your were disappointed with our service", "we'll look into it" and stuff like that. I kinda figured that was it, but much to my surprised I received not only a letter of apology from the local MickeyD's PR person, but also $5 in McDs gift certificates! Now I never said I wanted my money back or anything like that, but this was a nice. It's the kind of thing you would hope a company would do, but not really expect, so this was an unexpected surprise!
