handmaiden_yane tagged me with the letter "J".

1. Jet City Woman by Queensryche YouTube. (An ode to Seattle, this song just ROCKS!)

2. Jump by Van Halen YouTube. (Nothing says 80s rock, or 80s MTV better than Van Halen. And to think it all came about because Eddie Van Halen didn't like the criticism that he was just a guitar player. Apparently he can play the keyboard, too.)

3. James Bond theme by John Barry YouTube. (There's arguably nothing more identifible around the world.)

4. Jack Sparrow by Hans Zimmer (From POTC:DMC, it fits Jack's occasionally wobbly, but rock star attitude perfectly. What a theme, and one of Zimmer's best pieces.)

5. Just Another Day by Henry Lee Summer ("just another day / just another night of wondering how it it might have been." A slow, sad song about regret, about what you could have done, and what might have happened. Instead, you've just lived through another, ordinary day.)
A is good. :) Check it out!

Also I downloaded some Van Halen. :) Listening to "Why Can't This Be Love" right now. :D
I recommend that and...

"When it's Love" (which really won me over to Van Halen)
"Dreams" (used to be my favorite song of all time)
"Humans Being" (the last great VH song, imo)
"Finish What Ya Started" (guess what that song is about?)
"Hot for Teacher" ...and just about everything else off of the 1984 album (their last with David Lee Roth, and the entire 5150 album (their first with Sammy Hagar).
2 of their albums. Hot for Teacher is on 1984 and Humans Being is on their first Greatest Hits album, which I believe is just called Greatest Hits, Vol. 1.

I think they have 8 or 9 albums total, not including a Live double-disk set and the more recent Greatest Hits double-disk set that came out a couple of years back. I have to say that my favorite VH album title has to be "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge".
Cool, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is the one I have right now. Zune is experiencing some problems so I can't download anything right now which is lame, but it should be temporary.
