Good News! It's not April Fools!
The Godfather of the Star War EU, Timothy Zahn, returns to the Star Wars Universe with a new book! Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait until Fall 2011, but I'm okay with that. It takes place shortly after the events of Allegiance, which wasn't exactly his best work, but that's still a hell of a lot better than most of what's out there right now.

I should mention that I read his prelude novel to the new Terminator movie during my trip to Arizona. Terminator: Salvation: Out of the Ashes was a serviceable book, and it should be interesting to see how it all matches up with the film. Not to spoil anything, but John and Kyle do not meet in the book, which I'm sure is something that they'll do in one of the upcoming movies.
