I could try writing more

I guess one of my other resolutions for this year would be to write more. Period. I'd come up with what I think are good ideas, but when I open Word, I just sit there and stare at a blank page.

There's also my smutty-idea for Mass Effect porn that has its own issues. You see, my story takes place after the series is over, and Mass Effect has several different endings, so I feel like I have to write a big "State of the Galaxy" set-up to help explain why the two characters are fucking. Oh, a simple, "Hey, Vega. It's hot and I'm wet. Wanna fuck?" just isn't nearly romantic enough for my story. I need to let the reader know why this is happening otherwise they're not going to believe it. Porn is the home of "Plot, what plot?" writing, but I'm going to need a little something to get me in the mood, and I'd hope that my readers would want that, too.

Maybe I'll just write the whole set-up portion before tilting the camera to the stars as things just start to get hot and heavy.

But where's the fun in that?
