The Prestige Review

A story of revenge and obsession about two rival magicians at the turn of the century (19th to 20th century) played by Wolverine and Batman, uh, I mean Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, The Prestige isn't all that bad. From the men who brought you Batman Begins and Memento, the story jumps between timelines, making it a little difficult to follow, so you have to pay close attention, just like the magicians tell you to. With a fine supporting cast featuring Michael Caine, Piper Perabo, Scarlett Johansson, and an almost unrecognizable David Bowie, The Prestige, despite its slight predictability, is a fine film and gets a grade of B+.
