I just learned that a 31 year-old co-worker of mine is getting breast-implants later this month. Honestly, I don't think she needs them. Well, technically, she's tall, has a relatively skinny frame but not much up top, yet she's smokin' hot! In my opinion, implants would just move her from a 9 to an 11. She says she's tired of buying clothes in the juniors department. "Oh, this is self-esteem issue," I observed, but she says, "No," she has thought about this a long time, she was happy with bigger breasts when she was pregnant and she would like to have them back. In other words, it is a self-esteem issue.
The fact that her boyfriend of two months (whom she recently got engaged to) is (I think) paying for them may be a small factor as well. (I'll give him credit, the dude moves fast!) She said that they're not going to be stripper-sized, if that was any consolation to me.
The girl has two boys (13 & 1½) with two different fathers. I feel really sorry for the 13 year old, and can only imagine what he is going to say to his father when he sees him next. "Dad, do you know what Mom's getting?!?" When I brought that up, she agreed that, Yeah, she should probably tell him (the Ex) about it before he sees them (the new Twins).
It's going to take awhile before I can get my brain wrapped around this correctly.
